Latin Bishop of Syria
The Apostolic Vicar of the Latin Church in Syria
Monsignor Hanna Mousa Jallouf ,born in Al-Qunaya in 1952, entered the clerical institute in Aleppo in 1969.
He spent his first year at the Fonte Colombo sanctuary in Italy, and professed his permanent vows at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels, the cradle of the Franciscan monks in Assisi, Italy.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Alexandria in Egypt.
He then earned a Master’s degree in pastoral theology from the Salesian University in Rome, and specialized in school management at the University of Jordan in Amman
