And the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Bishop Georges Abou Khazen
Bishop Hanna Jallouf participated in the celebratory mass at the Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Lebanon-Harissa on August 4, 2024.
The celebratory mass was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Bishop Georges Abou Khazen’s dedicated service to the parishioners and believers. The celebratory mass was attended by a gathering of believers, priests, and nuns who honoured and thanked Bishop George for his long and faithful service to his parish.
The mass was also held to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the church’s inauguration, hoping that all members of the parish will always find their church a place for worship, contemplation, and a starting point towards Christian values, a place where they find peace and tranquillity.
After the mass, Bishop Georges exchanged congratulations with the priests, nuns, and believers, wishing them all the best and blessings in their lives. And also, in return, they wished for him to continue his service with even more dedication and good health.
